We are planning to drive from Split to Plitvice national park we plan to rent a car for a day. Is it better to fill up petrol in Split or in Plitvice?
What’s the nearest gas station near the park or do we have to drive far to get petrol?

I would fill up the whole tank in Split.
Why to waste time getting a pertol in Plitivice if you can do it as soon as you get a car or day before your travel in Split?
If you rent a car you get a tank full of petrol. You don’t need to fill it up unless you drive too much.

No petrol in Plitvice it is national park.
Korenica is more than 30 km away from Plitvice if you run out of petrol near the park you will have trouble finding the station nearby. ok, you can always take a taxi to Korenica but it is expensive. Fill petrol somewhere else if you can.
