Can you swim in Plitvice Lakes National Park?

I’m afraid no swimming anywhere in the National Park is allowed which can be annoying especially in summer, however you can swim in Krka National park that is not to far from Plitvice or even closer, in Mreznica or Korana rivers just up the road from Plitvice.

Both rivers feature some cute small waterfalls and cascades you can swim in if you wish.

Right out of national park borders you can swim in Korana as well as near Slunj.
I personally prefer Mreznica that has small waterfalls and very clear water.
